Terms and Conditions

1. Scope and Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of language-help.com (“Platform”), operated by Alexander Groll (“Operator”), a self-employed individual (Persona Física) registered in Paraguay.

By accessing the Platform or purchasing any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Services Overview

The Platform provides:

• AI Language Tutors – AI-powered voice tutoring in 16 languages at ai.language-help.com and ai.german-help.com.
• Telegram Bot – AI voice practice via @language_help_com_bot on Telegram.
• Human Tutor Directory – A free listing service for independent, self-employed tutors.
• Human Tutoring by the Operator – Language lessons taught directly by the Operator.
• Optional Tools – Booking and video conferencing tools made available at the Operator’s sole discretion.

3. AI Language Tutor Service (Browser)

3.1 Free Tier

Each user receives a limited number of free AI tutor sessions per day. The current free tier is published on the Platform. Free sessions may be limited in duration and frequency. The Operator reserves the right to adjust the free tier at any time without notice.

3.2 Time Passes (KI-Pass)

Paid Time Passes grant unlimited AI tutor access for the duration of the pass (30, 90, or 365 days). Time Passes are personal and non-transferable. They are activated on the date of purchase.

3.3 No Learning Guarantee

The Operator makes no guarantee of any specific learning outcome or language level. Progress depends on the user’s own effort, consistency, and prior knowledge.

4. Telegram Bot Service (@language_help_com_bot)

4.1 Free Tier

Each Telegram user receives 6 free voice messages per 4-hour rolling window. The window resets automatically 4 hours after your first message in that period.

4.2 Unlimited Access via KI-Pass

A KI-Pass purchased at german-help.com grants unlimited access. Activate it with the /pass command and your access code.

4.3 Invite Reward

You may earn 30 days of unlimited access by sharing the bot with new users via the /share command. The reward is credited once per newly referred user who sends at least one voice message.

4.4 Data Deletion

Send the /delete command to erase all data the bot holds about you.

4.5 Availability

The bot depends on third-party AI providers. Temporary unavailability does not entitle users to compensation or refunds.

5. Human Tutor Directory

Tutors listed on the Platform are independent, self-employed contractors. They are not employees or agents of the Operator. The Operator accepts no liability for the quality, accuracy, or outcome of lessons provided by listed tutors. Any disputes between students and tutors must be resolved directly between the parties.

6. Human Tutoring by the Operator

Lessons taught directly by the Operator are subject to the following conditions:

• Lessons must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may be charged.
• Lesson packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• No refund is issued for completed lessons.

7. Affiliate Programme

An affiliate programme is available to registered users and invited partners. Affiliate commissions are as follows: KI-Passes 30%; individual lessons and packages 15%; group lessons 15%; trial lessons 0%. Full details are set out in the Affiliate Guidelines.

8. User Obligations

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform or bot for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass or manipulate access limits or rate limiting
• Use automated tools to interact with the AI tutor or bot beyond normal personal use
• Post false, misleading, or harmful content in tutor profiles or communications

9. Intellectual Property

All content created by the Operator (texts, logos, design, AI tutor characters) is protected by copyright. Reproduction requires the Operator’s written consent. Tutor profile content remains the property of the respective tutor.

10. Liability Limitation

The Operator’s liability is limited to cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence. The Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.

11. Right of Withdrawal

Consumer withdrawal rights are set out in the Right of Withdrawal page.

12. Changes to These Terms

The Operator may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. The place of jurisdiction is Encarnación, Paraguay.
